Disney x Dali: “Destino”

A collaboration between these two titans, which began in 1946, was completed in 1999, some 50 years later, by Disney’s nephew Roy Edward Disney, using the original storyboards as well as notes taken from the journals kept by Dali’s widow.

Disney and Dali’s original work — a mere 18 seconds of test footage — can be seen starting around 5:17.

As evinced by the copyright notice at the start of the short, this incredible slice of history may not be with us for much longer, so dawdle at your own risk.

Quincy Jones is the one person I have been waiting to hear from about Michael Jackson. The vid was taken before Michael passed but it gives you a good understanding of how truly special Michael was as a person and as a musician.
